When constructed, the treasure box displays its inner working gears to bring you a gorgeous show of mechanics any time you open and close it with the included key. By removing the key from the top lid of the box, you are able to turn the gears and lift the top to reveal the compartment for your jewelry and other small trinkets and treasures.

The ornate plywood designs offer a gorgeous touch of vintage design, with visible gear work behind decorated framed panels, textured corners and a layered lid. This unique treasure box adds mystery and beauty to your room, vanity, dresser or anywhere you wish to store your special belongings. The key needed to open the box can be stored within the dimensional design of the lid, blending into the textures for a hidden surprise. Simply remove the key carefully from the center top and use it on the front panel of the box in order to twist and turn the gears. The difficulty level of the construction is easy to medium, making it a fun challenge for a perfect for anyone 14 and older. Building the treasure box may take up to four or five hours of puzzling construction, giving you an up-close-and-personal familiarity with the inner mechanisms. By putting the treasure box together yourself, you’re able to better understand how the gears work to create the movement of the lid when opening the box.
